Alchemist is seriously annoying me in 6.85, I am actually picking him every game just so I dont have to play against him.

I haven't watch it, but apparently VG played a strat where they used Morphling, and replicated the Alchemist. Gold farmed by the replicate went to the Alchemist.

Wow, played against an Alchemist the other night, it's actually ridiculous, he needs to be nerfed!

He is easy to shut down or pick against. Havn't lost a game against him this patch, i do lose if he is on my team though..facepalm

Pick Beastmaster. If you get necro 3 + solar crest sub 30 minutes, you can absolutely melt him, assuming he uses the radiance/manta/octarine build (which is pretty ****ing retarded pub build IMO). I won about 5 games with BM vs alch in this patch, all using the same build. He usually dies before the roar ends, even in ult.

Lycan also does the trick, but ideally you will need someone with a lock down.

Stun + armor reduction. Don't even need a heavy nuker at that point.

Slardar is also pretty great against an Alcy, the damage amp works good

Yeah stuns defs help. Just pick early fighting carries and build them that way. Slardar, WK, LS also works wonders..

Try and win a couple of fights while he is farming and then try ganking him. SHould win 1v1 if you get a good initiation with slardar/wk/ls.

Don't play if you are less than 4 - you don't have to wait for the recommended 8 players. Be sure someone takes Axe and builds 4-5 hearts. It is THE most fun you can have in Dota at the moment.
