Dota 2

Just out of interest sake is there anyone else looking to Join a competitive team ?

Sure would love to play competitively. I have a lot of friends I play with but we play for fun. Have been playing this game quite a while. Just never been in a proper clan before.

Maybe if I was 15 years younger and not running my own business I'd consider it, basically only playing dota for fun currently, plus my skill level is pretty low and don't have the time nor patience to improve.

can anyone say Pit lord !!!

Oh and in other news we played against SRS(our national team) in a friendly scrim and drew it 1-1 so hype is on the recovery train

Pit Lord would be awesome, was one of my favorite dota 1 heroes along with Winter Wyvern and Arc Warden :D

Saw those games! Not bad considering who the opponents were. Would of been an interesting 3rd game!

Guilty as charged... :)

I like watching the big guns play, especially when they pick hero's not picked in every single game. I am so tired of seeing DP, Tide, Shaman, AA, NP, Tinker, Bat, Jakiro, etc.

Saw Navi at least break the mold with a mid AA... :p Pretty funny.

Who saw the 10 minute game vs Empire?? Holy cow!

I saw that game, think Empire were just unlucky as Na'Vi have been playing very average dota, compared to what they used to.

think the next few months will be interesting to see what happens with alliance and na'vi as they are way off the mark at the moment.

Agreed to some degree - Navi has been playing much better since the Puppey split IMHO. They are much more aggressive since after TI. Team who are impressing me at the moment is Team is Secret, Fnatic and C9 as well as TT, some good plays coming out there.

Fair enough all good plays.... but you have obviously missed the EG games.... they are playing unbelievable dota.

I couldn't agree more, so tired of the same heroes being picked, makes for extremely boring watching :(

That Dendi AA solo mid carry was awesome! At one stage I thought "oh ****, they going to fail", but they pulled it all together towards the end, very impressive stuff.

Very true Eazzzy, imo EG has always been a very solid team, they got some very talented players and I reckon they will just keep getting better and better as they keep evolving with playing different strats/heroes.

Na'vi seems to be on the same boat currently regarding different heroes/strats, but not to the same extreme degree as EG..... that being said their game has improved immensely since TI4

As for Empire, well, I don't know, their games are rather lackluster with minimal push strats that usually end up failing.

Apparently they had a lot of infighting.

I must say that the two teams I'm trying to follow consistently are Team Tinker and Team Secret.

Just because of Sing Sing and Puppey of course :p

Not that I don't mind seeing C9 do well either.

It wasn't infighting, Navi basically had a split in their own team, with Puppey/Kuroky talking english ( since kky can't speak russian ) and the rest talking russian. I remember from an interview with xboct (posted on /r/dota2 ) that xboct said nobody wanted to practice and the team was stagnating. Puppey/Kuroky's play style was different from the rest, I guess that played a big part in their departure.

Screw these DDOS attacks... Seriously.

I have never seen so many pauses and disconnects in my life. Navi very unfortunate, but well played to secret.
