Afrihost hasn't been that bad, they struggling with some issues the past couple days. I reckon my main issue is me playing off Wifi, must just move my router closer or get range extender.

Afrihost has had streaming issues for as long as I can remember. Everything from Twitch to Hulu to Netflix.

The fact that I knew you were on AH should have been the first sign about how bad they are. And that's totally separate from the all the authentication issues lately. They're just cheap. Nothing special about them.

By selecting EU West in the country options.

Same. Perfectly playable.

On EU West I get about 200ms. Sometimes it is as low as 170ms but that is rare. Usually between 200ms and 240ms. Not ideal but it is playable.

I tend to stick to SA servers though as pings are usually below 100ms.

Maybe I'll try the Web Africa R399 (120gb+120gb 12-6am - plus 50gb free special) home capped package in July and see how it goes vs Afrihost's R399 capped (100gb+100gb anytime)...

I use Afrihost for online gaming, nothing wrong with it.

I was responding to his post about Twitch streaming. Online gaming itself I have no idea.

I use my uncapped though for everything and it's great.
