Dota 2

I sooo feel your pain

Not like COD of battlefield where you can park for 10minutes and have a quick game. You know when you start it up that you need at least 30minutes but I normally work on 60minutes to be safe.

Haaahaahahahahaa 30min if you are very confident and have a 5 man team on teamspeak.

Otherwise your init for the long run I also grant about a 60min period of doing nothing at all which would benefit my studies.

Had a game recently that went for a whole 22minutes. IIRC the others were in a team and they demolished the enemy team...

I honestly can't say. I work through my studies, and if I finish at a respectable time, I get online and play a game or so. So depending on studies.. You're normally playing when I get on though, but if I do play tonight I'll wait for you guys to finish a game :)

A bloody mission syncing studies, family, work and Dota.

I am lucky that the SO is busy till 8ish and doesn't mind me gaming till then :D

I am hoping we don't have to go anywhere this evening so that I can play a few games!

I love those sub 35min games !!

Quickest game I had was about a year ago won at 19 minutes.

Two divines on bounty :P

It's still somewhere in dotabuff will look for it bit later.

Don't think we have played together your nick is Chevronza right?

Yeah.

Other night I someone invited me, not sure who, but always had one guy doing his own thing while the rest of us had team fights. No co-ordination at all.

Yeah.

Ah ok, wasn't me. When I play with Slaughter/Ghost/Insanity/Porchrat we always talk and discuss what we doing.

Maybe come Jam with a few of those guys its much better :D

Probably me :p

Noob!!!! :D

Ye Chevron, I got you on my friends list - if we on tonight and you are keen will send you an invite. Mic helps though especially when D3x starts chirping. You guys need to excuse him. He is not used to speaking with strangers. His mother kept him in a dimly lit room until he promised to leave his tinky alone.

EDIT:
I will try and delay my Valium and pain tablet intake tonight so I can at least try and have one good game... :D

I would join you guys, but my/our teams play style and strategy priorities are different to usual convention. Glass canons everywhere. Whats the group called?

Who the fsck invites a lvl 4 dota player to their party in the LVL 80+ pool?

Thanks, that just cost us the game, idiots.

Heh?
Wasn't that partly the point of this? Everyone learns and we aren't shouting at anyone like you get when you pub? We're not clanning yet...

Or did I miss something? So far I've had a blast even in the games we've lost..

But that person had no knowledge of the game, so in turn we lost because of that one player.

I dont mind loosing but for crying out loud, get to know the game by playing with your own skill level first.

Thing I don't think te "Seniors" actively check levels. We just assume we're all at the same level.

But you're right. A little voice chat encouragement can go a long way to helping co-ordination.

Especially when some doesn't know that Bloodseeker's first spell is a silence and we lose a game because of it.

So I feel Rickster's pain.

Yea we've been doing pretty well together. We started off quite shaky losing nearly every game but now that we've played a bit together I think we perform adequately (none of us are going pro anytime soon though lol). Had quite a few games with you guys where we plain old stomped the opposition. Sometimes even with 3 supports in our team. :p

EDIT: on a side note some folks have said my mic is quite low and difficult to hear... if any of you experience that please let me know and I will turn up the volume some more.

LOL I think it was last night I played with you and D3x!. I love the light-hearted chirps you give each other. Makes the game that much more entertaining :D

D3x! you feeder!! :D

That being said. I haven't played with someone quite that bad.. :)

Let this then be a warning to all those thinking about joining. Don't suck too much.
