Dota was down then on then down then 259mb update then down. Geeez man
 
Hey guys. I have an Afrihost 2MB Uncapped account and over the last month of July my game would completely freeze when playing. I'd get a split second of game time and then it goes back to freezing. Afrihost said the problem was occurring with others with the same 2MB Uncapped account. They said they'd change me to a 100GB Capped account in the mean time. Have any of you experienced this? I've been playing fine this month no lag or freezing. When I check my client zone it says I'm on the 50GB+50GB Capped account. Spoke to support this morning and they say I'm still using the Uncapped account and that the Capped account only kicks in September 1st. Just wanna know if any one else is going through this? If so, what have you done about it? Thanks
 
I've got the 100+100gb capped account and sometime get "freezing" for like 30 seconds even though browsing/teamspeak etc works fine. Really annoying as it usually happens when you're in a "fight" in front of your tower or you're pushing a tower with enemy heroes incoming.

Sometimes it's just plain laggy. No downloads or anything. Sometimes restarting my router helps.

Going to try WA next month.

Sounds like the same problem I'm having. I just feel somewhat obligated to remain loyal to Afrihost for some reason. Glad to know I'm not alone on this. Was a headache doing the whole process of elimination trying to figure out what exactly was wrong. Maybe I'll try WA out too :p. Thanks

Maybe post this under the appropriate section. The guys under this section should be able to help you.
 
D3x - hope you left your PC on... There is a 260MB patch out this morning. Gem still dormant though... :(

Well, it is better now. Haven't had it in a while, yesterday my cable fell out of my router (don't ask me how) though and my first thought was 'Ai Afrihost'.

The new Steam is retarded, it shows you the speed at which you are downloading at and the percent but not the size and current amount downloaded.


/facepalm
