While we on the topic of items, what is the most you have sold an item for?

I got a few heroic random item drops while watching some pro games and put them up for $10, didn't really expect anyone to buy them.

Imagine my surprise as I've already sold 2 out of 4 :D

Sold numerous scorched talons/tassles/staches/arcana's

The staches are worth the most sold a couple for 60$ each

Got to love dota2lounge (well when I win :))
 
Haven't bothered with Dota2Lounge as of yet, guess I should look at it as my item stash just keeps growing.

How exactly do you go about winning arcana's?

Well as long as your predicted win amount is the value of an arcana, there is a chance you might win one. Or you could win a bunch of items totalling your win value.

Just depends really on how d2lounge pays out.

My most valuable item I have AFAIK is a pudge hook at about $10 that I got as a random drop from watching Starladder 11, and I dare not bet it! So how you have the balls to go bet an Arcana is beyond me!

Must say, I'm digging the new Compendium. As long as we get the chance to get more levels at a later stage. Currently level 51... Started at 50 :p

Give me my Immortal 2 damn it!

What did you guys think of the first set of Immortals?

Absolutely digging the new effects, especially the magnus item! :love:
 
One of the peeps I play with occasionally upped his compendium to lvl 476 :wtf:

That's roughly R2500 worth :sick:

Damn it! I wanted that Magnus item so bad! I did get lucky with the NightStalker set, but I am not a big Pugna or Sand King player, so I'm looking at trading those two items onto mates in my regular stack

Oh wow! That credit card doing some real work! I initially promised myself that I would buy the Compendium, plus one $10 booster, and that's it. Then I went and got the level 50. Now my mind set it to see where I finish, and maybe buy one more booster if there are any items I really want that are within reach.

Ye same here, going to wait and see what's on offer first before spending anything more :D
 
One thing that has cheesed me off, and the actual reason I'm not participating in the compendium is the fact that it does not scale to my aspect ratio. Surely with ultra-wides become more and more popular you think they would support it.

I lose half the book off the bottom of my screen.

From the sound of things we will probably only see the Immortal II items maybe next week if we lucky

"The International prize pool is already halfway to the 15 million dollar mark in just 10 days, with 90 days to go. We’re still working on building the second set of Immortal items, but they’re not quite ready yet. We know the most important aspect of these Immortals is their quality level, so we are also planning on spending some extra time polishing them rather than releasing them quickly.

You’ll still see an update to the Compendium this week though. Included in that update you’ll find new challenges, the Item Recycling system, and new ways to earn Compendium Points."
