Epic won a 60+ minute battle vs Aeon last night. We came back from a 12 - 0 Shadow Fiend to take it in the late game with a mighty Tony. Well played gentlemen. It was one of the most grueling games I have been part of. They would push our base, we would defend successfully then push all the way back to their base. Once the buybacks came out, we would retreat and get ready to defend again. Then they would push and we would defend.... 
After pushing our base (mid rax down and top melee down) for the third time, we again defended successfully and they realized that we would now push and win, calling GG... It truly was EPIC!!!

It was quite entertaining to watch, well done! hats of for trying the tusk/techies combo
Sheesh... Deadman and I practiced it before hand and it seemed to work better than in game. Problem is, one miss click and you are doomed. You need to be spot on with those suicides. I must add that if it wasn't for techies defending the base we would have been toast. His bombs and suicides really helped a lot. CM didn't get anything done almost the entire game long - SF just rekt me.
CM (and I guess you could say the same for pretty much any hero I guess) is just one of those heros where if you fall behind in the early game, and battle to get much done, you are never really going to get into the game. Unless you get a bit lucky, you can never really use your Ulti to get into the game...

So, I was hoping to go between jungle and lane, but we had a Clock going up against a Tiny in lane, so I couldn't leave him. Tried to harass the CW as much as I could to keep him off our Tony. Couldn't get to the jungle to get my farm up. I had only brown boots until round about the 20th minute.

So, I was hoping to go between jungle and lane, but we had a Clock going up against a Tiny in lane, so I couldn't leave him. Tried to harass the CW as much as I could to keep him off our Tony. Couldn't get to the jungle to get my farm up. I had only brown boots until round about the 20th minute.
Perhaps a good old trilane would of done the trick? Depends on who your offlaner was though. But at the end of the day, game won... All that matters

Won't even bother about trialing as 1) Time won't allow me to commit to playing as much as I would like, and 2) I think you would want somebody better

The point of the draft is to run dual lanes, the tusk/Techies is supposed to make lots of space, we didn't pull off the lane properly.

Ah of course. You did mention the Techies Tusk combo. Well then it makes sense.
Big up for giving it a crack. Don't think I'd have the guts to try that out in a league game.

Definitely not. She's a support. Supports need 0 farm.
Unless you pick a supporting hero but build it to carry.
Supports in dota 2 are stupidly broken if you ask me.

Even late game all you need to do is stay back and wait out the BKBs.
CM's ulti in particular, melts you like crazy and you cant escape.
Kind of agreed. While they need minimal farm vs. a carry, they do need some sort of CS. Carry obviously takes preference, but if you as a CM only have plain boots and a stick my minute 40, with no sight of some utility or positioning items, you going to be in for a bad time.

I think CM in particular needs a little more farm or at least a higher GPM than your average supports in order to get that mana pool up. Her ulti is a mana monster.
