DOTCO pushing forward.

I agree - well done DOTCO, and all the best with taking this further.
I must say again it amazes me that DOTCO was the only ISP coming up with this. Did the other ISP's not think of this or were they looking forward to also making more money with the per usage system. I’m not throwing any stones at specific ISP’s but it makes you wonder.

Well done Johan, its a great start! Lets hope for all our sakes your get a favourable ruling come December.

sh1 - we filed ICASA but not high court because our attorneys did not feel it would be succesfull. It now turns out that Dotco's contract (which is public knowledge) is different to ours. Hence we would most probably not be able to get an interdict.

However if Dotco are successfull, we will definitely follow suit with high court action. As we then have a competition argument.

Thx for the info Matt. Like I said - I dont want to throw stones at specific ISP's cause I know there are some that tried to stop it in some way or the other.
And I know up till now you guys did a great job with your pricing and stuff.
Keep it up and we hope that not only WA, but all the other ISP's will follow DOTCO.
