Speeds Slow again around Durbanville and Cape Town
I have eventullaly got past all the red tape and got a log # for the networks dept., received a call from the networks tech for my address - here's hoping, as the speed are still inconsistent (between exceptable and poor)
Cell C please fix the peak period Speeds, the network is unusable during these times and the pings go from 60ms-80ms to 170ms and 190ms plus.
Many online applications are useless and the network speeds are very poor between 6pm until midnight... this can not be justified and cell c must increase there bandwidth or systems to accommodate for this...
I tested it again this morning before 6:30 am and the speeds were half what they were over the weekend. 4mb/s instead of 8mb/s plus the pings were 89-90ms instead of 60-80ms still on the high side.
Something is still not right in cape town, we can't keep having issues like this in 4 years with Iburst i only had 1 or 2 issues that were resolved in 24 hours, and that's it.
I understand the network is working through issues, but issues every week seem far to frequent, besides i have not had consistency in general since November last year.
I don't want to go to back to Telkom or back to iburst, i am looking for Cell C to fulfill the expectations that i settled for when purchasing the 5gb stick, please note i have exceptional coverage and live 500m from the tower and boost my signal via a poynting antenna to -51dbm, therefore coverage is not an excuse.
