I came across this today, looks promising:
http://sourceforge.net/p/doublecmd/wiki/Download/

main.php

It has some interesting features; file splitting, file combining, side-by-side file comparisons and best of all, copy queueing with pause and resume. :D
Source code as well as binaries for GNU/Linux (.deb and .rpm), FreeBSD, Mac OS X and Windows (32- and 64-bit) are available for download.

Another cool dual pane file manager is Worker which reminds me a lot of Directory Opus from my Amiga days. This puppy is highly configurable!

Au contraire mon ami, that's the svn version https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/doublecmd-svn/ I suspect those depencies are to setup the build environment.

I did not see the the doublecmd-gtk2 package when I searched with yaourt earlier
Interesting that you mention yaourt. I used to use that when I used Archlinux back in 2008/9. Then I went back to Ubuntu/Debian based distros for a while. This year I went back to Archlinux, loved systemd ect (which I use on Debian). This time however I use pbfetch instead of yaourt.

Is yaourt still worth it? I wonder, though for now pbfetch works just fine.

Never heard of pbfetch. I've used yaourt->packer->yaourt

This Double Commander looks like Total Commander (Nee Windows Commander) which I use every day.
I don't see Linux support in Total Commander, but I see there is for Android.
