Double NAT Xbox Issue

So i have my main ONT to my main router
from there i have a lan cable running to a switch and a multi mode modem (set to access point mode)
from these i have multiple lan cables running aorund the house

one of those leads to my one xbox in the room, i am getting a double nat error and struggling to play online using LAN. (using wifi all is good)

how do i fix this issue ?

i read on some pages but for a non tech guy i dont know much on how to fix it

When you move to the main router and use a lan cable there, are you still double natting?

Which ISP ma se kind?

im with afrihost

and just checked now my lounge xbox which is directly connected to the main router via lan is also showing double nat

but weirdly never had any multiplayer issues

is this an ISP issue

Hi.

You are on Openserve and you do not get a CGNAT Ip, it will always be a Dynamic IP. You may need to set up DDNS.
With the dynamic IP we have built-in DDNS that you can make use of. fiberusername.ip.afrihost.co.za which will point and update to your current IP. You can find your username in ClientZone and it's the name before @afrihost.co.za
