Hi all

I currently drive a Nissan NP200 (the 1.6i 8 valve) and it's served me well over the past year (or there abouts) that I've owned it. I've always liked the look of double and super cab bakkies and have searched around on various sites for them looking to upgrade. From what I found I can pick up a decent looking bakkie (okay maybe the mileage is a bit high) for around 65 to 85k. I've spent a good few hours looking at different options and reading forums about reliability and fuel consumption but I wanted to get some opinions from you guys regarding some of them (more specifically the Ford Ranger (around 2007 that sort of shape - not sure if there is a word for it), Isuzu KB 280DT LE/LX and the Mitsubishi Colt 2.8 TDi). I really like the look of the older Isuzus and the Colts, and have quite a few friends who have owned them previously but then sold them. I've read up about fuel consumption issues and overheating particularly with the Colts.
Just looking for opinions here. What would you guys recommend if you were to buy a double or super cab for between say 50 and 85k? What should I be looking out for in terms of issues? Looking for something preferably with 4x4.
Thanks :)

I really like the look of them. A relative of mine had one for a few years. Rusted to pieces but mechanically they last absolutely forever provided you maintain them. I can get a really good looking one for around 50/60k which doesn't sound too bad. Anything in particular I should watch out for?
