Downgrade DSTV subscriber

Hi Guys,

Would like to know if you in similar experience.

I'm on Premium subscriber as it will be end by end of this month, So on Self Service DSTV website, if I downgrade now to Compact subscriber which I expect changed on 1st August. Will it affect the immediate change OR I will continue using Premium till end of this month and it will automatic change to Compact subscriber on 1st August?

It takes effect immediately and is billed pro-rata. So if you already paid for Premium for August you go into R695 debit with DStv.

My mom just did this last week. She downgraded to DSTV extra and it took effect immediatley and was billed pro-rata. She got a credit which they applied to her account.

funny enough also downgraded recently.. same as explained above... lotsa people downgrading:erm:

I think that alot of people are finding that DSTV premium is just not worth the price for what you are getting.
