hi guys, does anyone know if its possible to downgrade an mtn 24 month contract before it expires?
i am currently on anytime 500 and i have a galaxy note 2. the contract is in my moms name.
i want to downgrade my contract because i barely make any phone calls and barely use any of the airtime. i have wifi in my room so i dont even use it to browse the web. its so annoying because i'm currently sitting on over 1k worth of airtime.

i still want to keep the phone so does anyone know if it's possible to downgrade and then just pay in for the phone?

thanks:confused:

Yes, its possible to downgrade and just pay in for the phone. you may end up paying the same for less tho.

It's cost me R300 to downgrade from anytime 750 to 500.

Pretty good. Assume the device subsidy was basically covered on both contracts

well mtn has the note 2 on an anytime 200 contract already so wouldn't i just be able to downgrade to that?

Not necessarily. The device subsidy increases the higher your contract goes. So there could be a pay in.

That's now. The phone was probably more expensive when it came out.

Just walk in an ask.
