Thanx. Installed the Opera update directly to my phone, it seems like I run into problems as soon as I want to install Java apps...

Opera is a sis file so I dont think it is that. But I am no programmer. Far from it! Just a lover of new freeware! Have to tried nokia dev forums? Have you pm Data dude yet? What is your favourate colour? Sorry "Quest for the holy grail" flash backs! Good luck!

Antivirus and firewall off.

Not sorted and I've given up, fed up with phone especially since it lost all settings and (almost?) everything that was in phone memory 3 days ago...

Nobody got back to me anyway, apart from your regular enquiries and suggestions, which are really appreciated.

Uhmm... Well, the whole thread is available, and I've once before PM'd you a summary of the previous PM's... That's why I stated that I'm giving up since nobody gets back to me. Just thought I might get some help after almost 11 years of loyal payments.

I do apologize, I forwarded this to my Device manager and haven't had any feedback this one thing I'm not sure about but will keep trying

you need to make sure your home page in connection settings start with http://wap.etc not www and make sure your proxy port number is 8080 call me on 0828591572 and will help you with any problem regarding series 60 phones got a n70 myself and had same problem

Have been fairly busy lately, must still call troopa. I'm using http://wap.etc...

Data lost: Checked mail (only headers), tried to delete some and wouldn't. Tried checking later and nothing happened. Restarted phone and it was as if the phone was reset to factory settings... Only open mail that I expect to get when away from pc, else only remove obvious spam based on sender / subject.
