Google returns 100's of download managers.

I'm looking for a freeware download manager. Anyone care to recommend one you have used and found to work well?

Again, FDM can do that.
 
FDM is boring and it's slow, orbit is faster ;) Just my opinion.

No, it has this cool icon in your tray..it looks pretty, and when you hover your mouse over it it shows the download speeds...and er.. yeah, besides its prettyness and the stuff I mentioned..theres not much else :p

Okay, well, I didn't know, I dont trust anything with the words "free" and "manager" in the title..

..heh, jokes aside, you've probably used some crappy downloader with ads and crap, and then you found FDM and its the coolest thing since bread came sliced, its the same for us Orbit fanbois..
 
I'm no Orbit fanboy, I love IDM, it's the fastest and best, too bad it's egggssspeeennciiiveee ;) :D :p
 
im sorry but orbit is by the far the best on the internet plus it can download youtube movies

faster than streaming them which is awesome

you dont need flashgot with orbit

i dont have flashgot and orbit intergrates just fine with firefox

when u install orbit you tell it which browser you have
