Download Managers

ive been using free download manager but had to switch cause its corrupting my downloads for some reason(???)
But now i find that both Orbit and Internet download manager have a limit on the number of concurrent connections!! thats just irritating... anyone know if this can be changed?

O, and you cant seem to copy and paste a list of urls directly into IDM and orbit...

FDM here too. Orbit gave me hectic grief (stuck at 99% of 1gb)...there is a thread about it somewhere.

*sigh* i thought there was a problem with the download manager but theres some issue with my desktop thats corrupting my downlaods....
try 1.5gb down the tubes... (33 files and 27 corrupted)

Free download manager when the files are big but usually I don't use any download manager.

Another Flashget user here. Been using it since the days it was still called JetCar.

That's about almost 8 years now give or take. It was a lifesaver on dial up, provided you had the patience to last that long lol.

Can't say I liked the new FlashGet when I tried it, I didn't even start a download yet and it tried to make 12 connections out. I then turned off anything in the options that looked like it would want to make a connection, then it still tried to make 4 connections out without me adding a download. That just looks like suspicious behaviour to me ;)

I'm taking flashget off my computer. Just tired of it. think I'll give FDM a try by the sounds of things here.
