If you're on custom, you should be on KitKat unless you are running an old ROM. I've been on KitKat since January.

I have the I9500 on MTN. Seems the I9505 is delayed a bit. Also tried updating a mate's S4 yesterday and it wasn't available on Vodacom either.

Correct me if Im wrong, but this new sd card thing with kitkat basically means that when I take photos/videos it will be saved on internal storage whereas previously we were able to select either internal or sd card storage???

yes, and it also means that 3rd party apps cant save to the sd card unless it creats its own folder..

Busy trying to download the upgrade this morning from MTN but find it is going terribly slowly. Have been at it for about 2 hours already and download has only progressed 17% so far. Anyone else also find the download slow like this?

Updated mine OTA on Saturday. Pictures are still being saved to the ExternalSdCard. And Apps that I had running from the exSD are stiil running from there.

have you tried moving files or copying files on the sd card using es file explorer? any app thats not stock?

if you use stock apps. it'll work.but any 3rd party app. camera app. file manager..etc will not work
can u try to move an app to sd and see if that works? a new app?
