Downloads stopping before complete

Anybody else experiencing large downloads stopping before complete. Sites like rapidshare, uploaded.net etc. Telkom adsl?

no problems with uploaded (I use this everyday)

i thought it was just my Download Manager i use IDM it started recently after mweb "restored capacity" it gets to like 99% then times out 2gb +

My downloads also stops for downloads that don't resume if i pause.I have telkom internet.

I had a similar problem. Was using Eset and disabled it once and download completed fine. So check you antivirus...

I've seen it too a couple of days ago and I have no AV or other programs that can cause this. Also Telkom is my ISP. They are definitely causing this.

this is a major aggravation for me too. My ISP is Telkom, 2gb uncapped. Not only is the line clearly 'throttled' during the day (which I reluctantly accept) but no file bigger than about 80megs will download completely - the download just stops. This crap only started this year. My constant complaints to Telkom are absorbed like throwing a stone down an empty well...

Your problem isn't with TI but elsewhere otherwise the Telkom Uncapped thread http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/369314-Telkom-Internet-Uncapped-User-Feedback would be full of complaints.
