Dragon Age: Inquisition

I'm gonna wait a bit for this one... DA and DAO were "jizz in your pants" good, DA2 was a crime against humanity and once again proving that anything EA touch goes to a pile of horse**** faster than a bale of hay through a horse. DA2 was so bad I stopped gaming completely.

I will not get burnt again by that fetid, putrid pile of pus they call a company...

Doubt the cable theft is an issue. I ordered PC games the same day as I ordered DA, the PC games came yesterday - which was the expected delivery date.

Either supplier is delaying, or the expected delivery date is incorrect

That is pretty bad - your parcel is not even dispatched.
However, I have had a parcel delivered that was 'in progress' - so you will never know with Kalahari...

I find this to be typical of Kalahari, I don't think I've ever had an item delivered on time. However, they were the only choice at the time, everyone else was sold out.

Won't be able to play this weekend anyway - SO's birthday. :(

I've never had Kalahari deliver a preordered game to me on time. Not once.

Simple - because it's cheap. I ordered Far Cry 4 from Kalahari, because I don't mind if it's delivered late and because it only cost R399 with one of the widely available R100 vouchers.

If you want to play the game as soon as possible you're better off preordering on Steam, predownloading the day before and playing from midnight. Or ordering online with BT Games and collecting from your nearest store at 9am.

So someone is a fool because they don't mind waiting a few more hours or an extra day to receive their game? I'd rather just pay R399 for FC4 thanks. But you go ahead and pay more and show us what fools we are.

I haven't bought anything from BT Games in years, but last I did they had great online preorder prices. So if you choose to collect and pay at your nearest store you get the game at 9am, pay one of the best prices around and shaft the store because they don't take a cut from online orders. And not many people want to go the online route - it's almost always more expense than buying a physical unit locally and you have to download the entire game when you could be playing.

I am just klaar with Kalari and the many times they lied and failed me. Same as with AfriHost and then I decided it is done, I am done and no more support even if I have to pay more or can't get it right now.

Um, when something is available as pre-order only... :erm:

Everyone had very limited quantities, when they were sold out that was it. Same happened with Far Cry 3, the Insane Edition was not available as of about a week before release and has never been available again.

Collectors' editions are annoying these days, it's not like the old days where you could still get it for months after release.

...well ce's of course is another matter. But which ce's are still worth it? Out of my ce collection only 3 or 2 are really what I would call a true ce and not just game + dlc and something else... Witcher? Skyrim? Fallout Vegas etc I mean mortal kombat ce was **** as most of them are.

I mentioned on more than one occasion that it was a CE. As for your question, most of them? :D They normally come with quite a lot of physical extras.
 
Anyone's order status change as yet?
Do you know if stores started receiving their copies??
