They are like kids. Put up a huge fight by tonight they are thick as thieves again. They do not have the attention span to hold a grudge against more than one thing at a time.
 
Seems like the ANC are starting to lose their patience with the ANCYL.

Totally unacceptable - ANC

Earlier, ANC spokesperson Jackson Mthembu said the violence was "totally unacceptable".

A Sapa photographer, Werner Beukes, and two eNews journalists, Belinda Moses and Cathy Mohlahlana, were pelted with stones.

"It flies in the face of what the leadership has called for - disciplined behaviour," Mthembu said as groups earlier tried to push towards ANC headquarters Luthuli House.

"It is not disciplined, and criminal. We have seen journalists being pelted. We have also seen even our police being pelted with stones, and all types of things.

"We are therefore saying this is unacceptable and we put the blame squarely on the shoulders of the ANCYL. We are very concerned."

The ANC appreciated police's role and called on them not to be provoked.

And he's not wrong either. The ANCYL are the ones who organised these marches, even though there was no good reason to do so.
 
This is where I miss corporal punishment. The police should round them up and give them 6 with a sambok.

Probably the same as the rest of us - that the ANC had it coming and that they should have dealt with Malema and co. much sooner. She obviously can't say that though.

Yeah right, we only have to look at Egypt, Syria etc to see how well shooting protestors goes down.

Was this protest authorised? Did these people get permission to protest? Did COSAS get permission to rally school kids to this gathering?

If no permission was given to gather like this then them all and lock them up.
