drastic increase with new program

i got a nifty little program from the net that when installed it ups your adsl speed.
i did a speed test prior to getting this program and the best i could get was 4 kb/s
now im ranging at about 254.85 kb/sec

I used a proggie called DrTCP.

I must say there is not a majour noticable difference.

Haven't found any proggie yet that ups line speeds significantly. best u can really do is use tweak to change packet sizes etc and that makes only a very small difference.
