Hi i am living in Bellville and bought me a Dreambox500s .Is there somebody in the Cape Town ,Bellville Area that have a good knowledge about the dreambox and can help me configure it and download the necessary software.

There are a few apps you need. For the firmware the best to use is pli Jade

Some usefull apps you will need:
- Flashwizard saving and flashing the DB
- Dreambox DCC

If you get stuck PM me. Its pretty easy. The worst you can do is stuff up the firmware when flashing, in which case you need a null modem cable to reflash it from your PC. Made a backup before you try and upgrade anything.
