Sup guys,

I went to go watch Dredd 3D on circuit last year and I loved it. I downloaded the dvdrip on pirate bay till I could get the bluray which was supposed to have launched in January. I've been looking for the bluray everywhere but all I can find is the DVD.

Then I hear that it wont be releasing in SA? WHAT THE FUZZ??? Apparently this movie has been topping sales charts on bluray overseas and we're not getting it? I know there's the option of importing it, but still which braindead idiot decided to not distribute the bluray in SA???

I'm still surprised how slow the uptake of Dredd 3D is/was, I watched the trailer and knew it was going to be awesome, was the best 3D experience I had last year.

Sure I saw it in musica

The 3D bluray?

Dude, I'm shocked too.... apparently it outsold everything in its release week on bluray, something like 650k sold and the retarded stores over here look like they aren't going to stock it??? OMG???

Felt really proud when I read the end credits - lots and lots of Saffers there who did a stellar job

The movie stores don't have it yet either. They say it was delayed. Only dvd for now.

I asked my DVD store as soon as I saw they had the DVD ... but they said something went wrong and they are not getting it in Bluray. The second time I asked her she said they are working on it and hope to get it soon.

I actually preferred the first Dredd movie. In fact I got so bored with this one that I turned it off about 2/3 in.

The local DVD release is by Videovision (Anant Singh) and I read on another forum that they are not releasing the movie on Blu Ray locally.

If you really want it on 3D Blu Ray then rather buy it from Amazon or get the imports from Takealot or kalahari as the quality will be much better than any local release.

I buy all my Blu Rays from overseas sites.

I was REALLY looking forward to the 3D Blu Ray, as I seemingly missed it on the big screen

Had it on pre-order from Takealot and was notified toward the end of Jan that my order had been cancelled due to the supplier no longer listing it.

I wonder what on earth the reasoning behind this could be? A movie like Dredd should be released on Bluray by default. tsk
