Drifta account question

a mate of mine has a dstv drifta that he does not want anymore and told me I can take it. Now I would like to know the following. If I do take the drifta, how will I pay for the monthly subscribtion. Do I leave the drifta account on his name and just continue with the payments into his account, of is there a way to transfer the drifta over to me.

He'll need to do a letter saying he's sold it to you and attach a copy of his ID

I will never understand this principal ever.

You contact them to cancel your services, automatically they should delete your details from their system or ask you few questions. Like do you still want us to keep your details on our database / delete.

There is nothing outstanding could understanding if there was something outstanding.

I have heard of SP actually blocking your handset if your account gets handed over

make sure he gets them to remove the subscription from his name

i had issues with my "new" drifta when i tried adding it onto my name
