Drifta depleting battery when off

Hi Guys,

I recently bought a drifta and twice now after fully charging it, putting it off and away, the next time I try and use it the battery is fully depleted.

To put it off I long press the power button until all the indicator lights are off. Am I missing anything or should I just try it once more and take it back?

Odd, I might expect that to happen over a long period of time, but I assume these are shortish storage sessions?

My button is faulty and the unit switches on at the slightest touch.
Your unit probably has the same problem.

I have started taking the battery out when its not in use to avoid the unit going dead flat.

Yeah, short sessions, like a day or so. I store it in the box, so maybe it could be the slight touch thing(while moving the box) its been out and on one spot all day, out of the box, planning to check it a bit later again.

This happens to me all the time. I think its the problem with the drifta draining the battery to maintain its settings or something.

I tested it again, left it out of the box and this time it was fine.
Gonna keep testing though. It's frustrating when I take the drifta with me to use it only to find the battery is dead.
tRON, over what period of time does your battery die?
