Drifta in Durban

My thread is twofold ...... Firstly, is there anyone is Durban and surrounds using a Drifta? And secondly, if there is anyone using one in the Cowies Hill area, please let me know as I wanna get one but want to be sure on signal first.

I am in Widenham (Umkomaas) and is in a weak signal area - but I connected my arial to an outside arial and I have a 100% signal. You should not have any problems since you are right inside Durban iteslf.

I got burned before by wireless (ala Neotel) so I want to make sure this time, lol. Coverage map shows coverage all around me except the road I'm on, so wanna try test signal first.

Not sure of the road specific (i live in PMB), but a lecturer of mine has the drifta and used it to show us in class at UKZN westville campus. was slight signal loss.

I think they have a 7 day return policy so why not try it out & then let us know how it worked

Ah really, this I did not know. Will confirm and if it is the case, I'm off to get one and will report back as soon as I am able to
