Drifta under android

Hello, i posed this same question on the apple forum, and was wondering what your thoughts are regarding the issue?.. when you connect your android to the drifta via wifi, and anyone within close proximity are able to sniff the traffic of the drifta. What are your thoughts on the security of this, since i would assume that on android phones there would be background tasks such as mail logins, and all kinds, wont this data get sent over the drifta's wifi connection? and therefore be able to be sniffed?. im not sure if this point would be moot, since the drifta doesnt send any routing information via its dhcp
