Hi Guys
I have a small problem. I have a laptop that ran windows 7. It had a hard drive partitioned C & D. Windows install and programs on C, all data on D.
I did a reinstall of windows 7 but as luck would have it, the install failed due to the machine rebooting for no apparent reason halfway through.
I started the process again and reinstalled windows.
The problem is that the new window install has lost the D drive containing all my data and displays "Free Space" in Disk management. The Free Space is where all my data is sitting. See attachement.
How do I get my D drive back without losing the data? I was thinking of trying to get the windows.old folder back online somehow.
Any advice will be appreciated
