Drive problem

My friend has an 80 Gig Seagate drive (about three years old) that seems to be busted. The drive is seen in the BIOS but doesn't show up in Windows. I tried it in my PC but it's the same. In BIOS it's picked up but in Windows there's nothing. Not even in Disc Management.

Is the drive gone? :confused:
