Just curious, if you recently renewed your drivers license, how many weeks/months did you wait before the card was ready for collection?

Did my renewal on Jun 27, 2025, and it's still "in production"

Just got mine. 3 months.

I renewed 1/02/2025 but due to the sole machine breaking it took many months, collected June

They probably still still working through that backlog

I had the same message for months, even went in to ask and they like it's printing. Eventually logged into enatis to check and my finger prints didn't scan correctly.

My SIL got hers about a month ago ... she waited 6 weeks

Mine didn't scan either, they didn't bother after it wouldn't work the third time. Apparently you don't require finger prints on the card.

INFO PLEASE : I must do mine soon ... what is needed and how many hours must I set aside to have it done ? Do they force you to take a temp ?

They do not force you to take a temp. Take photos, take a good book and sit back and relax, it'll be over before you know.

Someone once said photo(s) is only needed for the temp as the photo for the card is taken at the department ?

A recent development is they put the photo on your application, cause there is a little spot that says they need a photo there, even though they take a photo digitally for the licence.
Yes take your own pen, they do have them, but they might be dry.

They do not force you to take a temp. Take photos, take a good book and sit back and relax, it'll be over before you know.

I did mine after it expired, they asked would you like one, said no thanks.

Mine is also expired ... long time already.
Im not interested in a temp unless it stays valid till the new card arrives ... even if it takes years.
Not gonna fund these crooks every few weeks/months
