Driver not detecting modem

For some future dweller of this thread, if it helps, I have found on Win7 i often have to uninstall and re-install the CellC software before it picks up the modem again. Some phat driver bug. Dunno if update fixes it. Im not gonna spend my cap downloading it.

Which modem, Huawei or ZTE?

I've been mucking about with the new Huawei drivers (4.20.11.00) and have found that every time the modem is inserted it is if Windows is seeing it for the first time, it takes much longer before the modem itself is available than with the version 3 drivers.
