What happens if a person's license expired in 2018? Do you have to go for your license again? Penalties involved?

No, it's just your card that expired, not your license. Just go renew as normal, you can pay extra for a temporary one.

date on the card is immaterial ,got stopped and asked for liscence a few weeks ago ,only had my old one in the car ,wallet was at home .he didnt even question it .scanned it ,he gave it back and i left .
 
Has anyone been to Rossburgh Testing Centre recently? Do they accept cash or is it card only?

Sweet bugger all, go get it renewed, pay the normal price.

Don't even bother with a temporary, that is literally only for if you've lost the original. But they don't tell you this

I have not but in general when dealing with any of these institutions I go with cash, cards, cheques, vouchers, ebucks, kruger rands, dollars and a sheep. Just in case.

But I'd honestly always take cash with. More and more have moved to cards but I'd much rather have the cash and not need it.

they stuffed up my application for a temporary drivers.. apparently due to some fingerprint anomaly. im just going leave it. shouldn't but damned if going to stand another day sorting crap that they should of done correctly on my first application

You didn't need one in the first place, unless you lost the old card.
 
thnks @Lupus Lost my drivers card have a temporary just going to certify with SAPS and leave it them to sort this clusterf out
