I need to get my license sometime as I've only got a learners, but I don't want to dish out cash on those driving schools. Is there anywhere on the net that I can find a summary of the pre-test checks one must do before leaving the test center as well as a quick one-two of the K53 driving method?

Thanks.

P.S Stingy, yes, but so what. :erm:

Dude I don't know hey. Rather fork out to a driving school than wasting it failing .

I agree with Korn1 here. Took me 4 years and two learner's (my own fault) to get my license in one attempt, used a driving school and would recommend it.

If you know how to drive, then you've already adopted all the "bad" habits i.e. things that will get you a fail on your K53 test.

Book a test, and closer to the test use a driving school until you drill the K53 method into yourself. Unfortunately there is no quick "one-two", it's something that comes with practice.

In terms of the pre-test inspections, don't worry about that part too much. My instructor only showed me those checks like an hour before my test.

Strongly recommend a few lessons. The K53 method is a frikken gauntlet of note - if anyone were to drive like that really there would be an accident every other time you get into a motor car.

You do need the instructor to watch and constantly correct you until you can do it without that.

Good luck with that ;)

Unless you get lucky first time round, you'll end up paying much more in re-booking fees than a few driving lessons.
