Drivers test for code EB

They booked the actual driving test with the license department.

So you do the normal road test where you drive with the trailer.

The other part of the test is in the yard, which included:

1. pre-trip inspection
2. Left turn - i.e driving around a corner without the trailer touching the lines
3. Reverse trailer in straight line
4. Alley docking

*****Un-hitch trailer****

5. Parallel parking - left, right or both

*****Hitch trailer*******

6. Incline start

Hope this helps.
Just reading this brought back nervous memories from my test many many years go.

I do applaud you for doing this.

I myself also missed the EB license by a few months, got mine in 1998. Those in 1997 had theirs converted to EB with the changed. I however just can't be arsed. I have towed many a heavy things and pulled over numerous times. They hardly ever even check the actual code. Even when I ride the bike and show my drivers license by mistake.

Never till this day been fined for towing anything above 750kg. And I'm well aware it's only been luck, but can't be bothered to go through it all again.
Just don’t get in an accident coz your insurance will not pay a cent.

Everyone over about 40 or so got lucky. The old ID book licenses just converted to EB automatically when it switched to the cards.

This is NOT ayoba ... oh wait!

I'm in the same "boat" (see what I did there?). I have a car that I tow to and from events and also need to also get my EB license. Oh how I've missed K53.

You must be insane ... oh, right!
