Droewors storage

Yesterday I received 3 kilos of droewors from my employer. After having some to eat and sharing with some of our family, I have about 2 kilos left. Can I just leave the droewors in the fridge? And for how long?

I estimate that it would be up in about 2 weeks time at the rate we're going. Can I freeze 1 kilo for a few weeks to a month?

Put it in an airtight container in the fridge and it'll be more than fine. Was kinda invented to last a long time.

Droewors freezes very well (low water content). I once found 4 year old droewors in the freezer and upon natural thawing it tasted like the day it was made. ; )
