What use is a wifi tablet if you don't have access to wifi, surely tablets need 3g?

There's always the option of tethering to your mobile if the tab supports it.
Otherwise you'll need an over-priced Galaxy Tab

You'll find the exact battery standby and usage time in the product spec's on the site.
But most of the tablets have between 3-6 hours usage time.
