Drones taking off in South Africa

Drones can offer a non-lethal alternative to surveillance and deterrence methods employed by private security companies.

This is according to iTOO Risk Solutions drone expert Kopano Tholo, who spoke to Cape Talk after several amendments were proposed for the Private Security Industry Regulation Act.

Nahh bruh. I heard Senzo is a lowkey mafia boss. He’s probably ensuring the mafia doesn’t have to worry about security being lethal. 🤣

Nope, I understand you want to sell drones, but privacy laws will never allow this. Criminals will get their own drones to investigate potential criminal opportunities.

Isn't surveillance non-lethal by default?

There is probably a connected cadre behind this company. Now, instead of doing whatever it takes to defend people and property against criminals, they can just make a video of the crime. Criminals must just remember to cover their faces and all will be good for them.

Everything the ANC (or their purse-string masters) touch turns to 💩

I personally own two mini anti bad guy drone launchers. One can hold 16 of the mini drones and the other longer launcher holds 8 not so mini drones. I prefer the longer launcher for indoor use.
