2-stage authentication only resolves the problem of someone accessing your DropBox, but most people use the same passwords for logging in to alot of other things (GMail, FaceBook or, worst case, banking).
So, a when password DB gets hacked/leaked, it puts more than just that specific login at risk.

I do not use Dropbox....when I saw it had 2GB of storage (not sure how much it is now), I turned away. I use OneDrive (formerly know as SkyDrive).

Hmm, as for Facebook, I barely make use of it - I get tagged in whichever photo's people tag me in.
