Dropped 70-500 Sigma for Sony / Minolta

70-500?? Dunno that one!

Tudor Photographic in Cape Town are the Sigma agents.
 
Sigma 70-500? Are you sure? I've heard of the 70-200, 50-500, 150-500, and a few others in between but never that one.

But yeah - Tudor Photographic is the authorised repair agent for Sigma in SA.

Sorry man yes it is the 170-500, Tudor is pretty useless with repairs, they said rather buy a new one.

Claim and get yourself a nicer lens. Even if you stuck with sigma the 50-500 or 150-500 would be a big improvement.
 
Surely your insurance would cover this, if it's an all-risk insured item. Where do you stay?
Take it on Sunray Technologies in Linden. Just google them, I think it was in 4th Street / Ave in Linden.
