Yeah. That thing you've got reversed in the photo.

The only time I use a uv filter is if I'm shooting on the beach on a windy day or I'm shooting my 16-35 in the rain. That lens requires one for complete weather sealing.

Vacuum it out, then gently remove the lens holder. I had the same happen to mine when it fell out the car. The vacuum removed 95% of it and gentle prising with a paint brush keeping the vacuum on removed the rest

Then I bought a replacement off Bid or Buy for R80 (Nikon camera)
