Hi all
My good old Telkom marconi router finally broke so i decided to buy a D-Link DSL-640U Wireless router.
So here comes the problem, i have two accounts so my old router was set up in bridged mode and everything worked fine, now with my new router the minute i set it up in bridged mode i get limited connectivity and can't log into the router or access the wireless BUT, i can still connect to the internet, my two connections work 100% but i can't access the router web interface or the wireless.
Ok so here is what i've tried:
I changed my network settings from automatic assignment to the router IP and then i could connect to it and dial a connection but wireless still doen't work. Still this shouldn't need to be done, and was never needed on my old router.
I've set it up on XP and Vista and both have the same problem
I set up a normal PPPoE connection and that worked fine with no limited connectivity problem so the issue seems to be with the bridged setup.
Any help will be much appreciated
