Mine also went down.
At first it was anger; resting the router cursing it for going offline during an EVE online OP and Google drive going poof with the documents being worked on.
Then came disbelief; checking banking statements to see if I have paid...no problem there.
After that came sadness; feeling bad for missing the Wormhole exploration OP.
Now it's acceptance; time to work further on the application code I have been putting off for later.
Ooh well it's coding for tonight ...

TI and Johannesburg. Mines been on whole day no problems on TI. 
I'm online again too on WA. Switching to Mweb to check that...

Our line in melkbosstrand is completely dead now. Just says failed to complete pppoe discovery

Yeah, the voice line seems to be completely dead. If I plug the line directly into the router, the adsl line works. If I plug it directly into the phone, the phone stays dead. If I run it through the splitter, neither the adsl or voice line works.
I think some part of the infrastructure here in Melkbosstrand is just completely broken. I'll log a fault on Telkom's website, but knowing them we'll probably be waiting another 4 or 5 days for a resolution.

I am having weird disconnects too. Haven't yet checked if I am losing sync but the pppoe connections drops and I am able to reconnect fine but on every reconnect I find my ip address has changed.
Normally if I get disconnected my ip address usually stays the same for a while afterwards which is why I find these recent disconnects strange.
Anybody else also notice this?
