Hi, I have an adsl line that disconnects every 10 minutes, taking several minutes to reconnect. It sometimes will be stable for a few hours, 2 or 3, and sometimes will disconnect every single minute - has done this for about 2 months now.
Telkom has view here to check it out multiple times, said that there was an underground fault and that it's been fixed multiple times, I used to have a 20mbps line but was told we were too far away and to switch to a 10mbps and have done so. I tried with and without splitter and disconnected telephone entirely, there was a lot of noise on telephone as well.
Those are the stats that I know how to view, the download before and while disconnected, the upload stats are almost exactly the same except upload speed is 600kbps.
Any advice on what to do to get a stable connection is appreciated
