Hi all,
Sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum..

I have recently moved into a building temporarily with built in wired internet (there is a single ethernet port).

Would it be possible to use a dsl router with wifi as a Wireless access point to have wireless in the apartment? or would i have to purchase a wireless access point only device?

As i am only staying here temporarily, i would like to purchase a router that i can use in my next place too, which i would prob install dsl.

yes, you can use the DSL router as your wireless. Just leave all the log-in settings blank and set up the wi-fi on the router. I have done that with a Billion Wireless router.

awesome!!

thanks man. i thought so, seeing as its a "router" at the end of the day..
