DSL Synced but cannot establish PPPoE connections

I've had the exact same issue running for a month now where every Monday morning when I get to work our line is down (cannot authenticate) So every single time I called Telkom (their offices open at 7am btw), they re-create the port (never solves anything) and then open a "ticket". Come 2pm-3pm the line works again. After doing that 4 Mondays in a row they finally said it's an exchange issues, which they fixed the following day. Been working for 2 weeks now *holding thumbs*

If you have line of sight, why haven't you?

You know what would be better than a single 40Mbit line? 2x 40Mbit lines.
One for your personal use, the other for business use - during office hours *grins*

Only one line per unit, so I would have to share my home line with everyone in the office and our office operates 24/7 so it's maybe not such a great idea.

Why only one per unit?

Telkom use a 2 pair cable, I'm sure they'd be able to just have the 2nd line in the 2nd pair? =/

Silly stuff imo. Don't see why people can't pay for more and just get more.

I've had this before, syncing to the exchange but can't connect to any ISP. The exchange ATM is down (the cable that connects it to the rest of the world). Log a support call, the SLA on this is usually 24 hours.

thread necro due to the same issue. Openserve said its a cable fault on the exchange. I will update if this resolves the problem
