How accurate is Telkoms ADSL line checking website,

They say my line has been upgraded to 10mbit (telephonically), their site says still at 4mbit.

I can check when I get home, just want to know if anyone has seen discrepencies. Gonna be upset if its not done.
 
My line was upgraded to 10mbps last week (which was a fun exercise, because they forgot to change the modulation... So check that if it's syncing slower than it should).

Anyway, TelkomZA sorted it out for me and it's been syncing fine since yesterday morning. But the site still says 4mpbs... So it is possible it has actually been done :)

Well, they finally updated mine, but my router has said 10mbps available for quite some time. The stats would most likely not have changed unless you have been having internet outages due to exchange upgrades.

You might need to PM TelkomZA.

They completed a network upgrade in my area yesterday (no MSANs yet, some exchange mods) but there was no automatic speed upgrade, however TelkomZA has just upgraded me to 10mbps from 8mbps (many thanks to Charl & the team :)).

That website is shet. My line is 40meg capable (currently running 10meg) and according to the website it can only run 1meg.
