DSL + Wi-Fi Router

Do the brands need to be the same? I have a tp link router and I wanna get a Huawei modem (coz it's cheap)

Depends on what you want to do. If you are going to use the Hauwei as a WiFi AP, using a cat 5 cable, there shouldn't be any issues, as long as you disable DHCP on the Hauwei.

Cool thanks. It's a 1 port Ethernet adsl modem which will be plugged into the tp link wireless router
