Hi all. I'm not too sure if you guys have seen this app already but I came across this:

http://www.ononesoftware.com/detail.php?prodLine_id=38

It's an app for iPhones where you can use the phone as a wireless remote for your camera. It may not be practical in all situations but its pretty snazzy and you can show off to all your buds that your iPhone is truely better than their normal phones :D
The only downside to this is that you need a computer or laptop connected to the camera in order for the program to work the camera.

Interesting - I already did a basic one a while back with my laptops remote control but this looks much cooler. :)

EDIT - $1.99 for the lite version . . . thank you. :D

Ok - this is going to be a lot of fun :D

Pity it doesn't support Sony Camera's....... looks VERY useful actually.

You should drop them a line ...

... maybe they don't know sony makes cameras :p

Lol... I have done so already... step ahead of you there bwana :p

+100 for the speedy response

-10000000 for being elitest snobs :p

They're adding Nikon support in the next update, but have no plans for Sony cams in the near future

OsX or Window - works as advertised, even on my netbook. :)

In fact too great. I know I'm going to want the $20 version soon . . . :o

Just kidding. You're not missing much.

On an unrelated matter is there an iPhone app of the year nomination thread anywhere?

oh yeah i forgot to add. Bwana, when you get your new camera and your pockets are still feeling a little happy, you can get the Professional Edition. It's only $9.99. Small change for you ;) and you can look like a larnie by controlling the camera with your iPhone :D
The Live view via the ipod is pretty impressive i think
