I did mention this in Android, but think some of the Photo geeks might like it as well

If you have an Android Phone or tablet and a Canon Camera this link is for you. I know you have Ipad applications that does more or less the same, but lacks the ability to time shoots. Example you can use something like Tasker + Controller on an Android Phone to set times for Automatic shoots without a need to get a PC. It is pricey and still in BETA but knowing the developer behind this product I can see a bright future on this app.

I tested this with my Canon 450D and most of the functions work very well, but not everything is supported

DSLR controller has been tested with the following hardware:

- Samsung Galaxy S2, (KG1/2.3.4 firmware or newer), requires USB Host cable, eBay: "i9100 usb host"
- Motorola Xoom, requires USB Host cable, eBay: "xoom usb host"
- Acer Iconia A500, no special cable required
- Asus Transformer, no special cable required, connect to dock
- Toshiba Thrive, no special cable required

- Canon EOS

Hey thanks for this. Sixty bucks isn't too bad if you're going to use it. Pity it doesn't work with wireless.

You are welcome.

True, the developer said that WiFi is next on the plan after its out of Beta. I would prefer the ability to save picture directly on the tablet instead of having to copy it when done.

Paid my R60 as I recon its well worth it.

Glad to see the latest update added better support for my 450D among others(1D mk III, 1Ds mk III, 40D, 400D, 450D, 1000D)

This is really becoming a great application.
